Executive Administrative Assistant
Our client is a full-service medical and health-care communications and education company. They develop strategic educational initiatives and implement a broad spectrum of activities including live symposia, scientific editorial content, newsletters, audioteleconferences, speaker-bureaus, patient information, and synchronous and asynchronous Web and multi-media programming activities.
Our client is currently seeking a highly organized, detail and deadline oriented individual to support the senior team. Responsibilities include calendar management, general word-processing, creation and management of spreadsheets, including advanced PowerPoint skills and research. The candidate must have the following skills, abilities and attributes in order to be successful in this role: superior time management, follow-up, project management skills, the ability to maintain a calm and professional demeanor at all times, be highly aware of the concepts of "taking the initiative," being "pro-active", "common sense", and exercising "professional judgment". The candidate must also have near expert MS Office skills including Excel spreadsheets, Word mail merges and PowerPoint. Knowledge of Outlook e-mail and calendar scheduling is a must as well as the ability to navigate the internet with ease including internet research, from "Googling" a phone number to in-depth project based research. The candidate must have inherent customer service and communication skills and be comfortable working from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (and on rare occasion later).
