Company Summary:

Our client is a marketing agency that helps build healthcare brands that patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals feel confident turning to and recommending when they are sick, in need, or helping others.


As the creative lead on the project team, the Creative Director is responsible for developing and implementing creative direction (leadership and vision) on assigned proposals and projects. Responsibilities include developing effective concepts designed to fulfill clearly articulated strategic communications objectives. The Creative Director is also responsible for developing a Creative Brief by articulating the key elements of the creative direction and by following the Creative Process, for supervising execution, including copy, content, art and design throughout all phases of the project development. The Creative Director must be conversant with different mediums, including video, print and interactive, although he/she may have a specialty or clearer understanding of one or two mediums. The Creative Director’s ultimate responsibility is to ensure that the final product meets the strategic communications objectives and is in keeping with client/Marketing Manager expectations and standards of excellence.

Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years creative work experience and at least three years’ experience in a supervisory position are required. Web literacy, experience with information design, site architecture and design methodologies are a must. The candidate must have a thorough knowledge of design and production across all media and a thorough understanding of marketing communications. Experience in solving both marketing and communication issues is a must. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and excellent presentation skills are important. Familiarity with healthcare issues and leading pharmaceutical healthcare clients is a plus.

Important abilities for this position include: developing "original ideas" and directing appropriate artistic executions, collaborating with clients and colleagues throughout the development and production processes, clearly articulating creative ideas and concepts and present those ideas in a compelling and persuasive manner to clients. The ability to develop creative approaches (solutions) designed to impact human behavior based on a thorough understanding of target audience needs and concerns and thorough knowledge of design and production across all media are essential.
