Must have at least:
  • 20+ years in business
  • 10+ years marketing advertising agency experience on professional marketing accounts
  • 5+ years in healthcare/pharmaceutical marketing
  • 5+ years as a leader of account management personnel
  • Minimum four (4) year degree required; Master’s Degree/MBA a plus
  • Strong knowledge of the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry
  • Experience in working with and leading multi-faceted teams and managing multiple businesses
  • Outstanding leadership skills
  • Outstanding team-building skills
  • Ability to be both a great team leader and a great teammate
  • Demonstratable experience as a "change agent" in current position
  • Proven relationship building with senior executive level clients

  • Some proficiency in Microsoft Excel a plus
Overall Responsibilities
  • Oversee and direct launch brand activities coordinating all disciplines to ensure strategic direction and continuity.
  • Overall responsibility for hands-on management/supervision of account management teams
  • Become fully versed in the products and therapeutic categories -- Cardiovascular experience a must
  • Be or become fully versed in all agency operations
  • Manage non-dedicated personnel (resource sharing) to cover workload and ensure maximum bill ability
  • Identify and lead the active pursuit of new business opportunities within both existing and new clients Identify and leverage available resources throughout network
  • Identify collaborative velocity partnership opportunities
  • Oversee growth and development of account team
  • Build and maintain excellent client relationships through delivery of superior insights and products
Responsibilities
  • Drive innovation and integration across team offerings
  • Help lead a cross agency team and provide access to all network resources to ensure successful delivery against business objectives
  • Review tracking reports with appropriate Finance and Account Team members and lead presentation and discussion of reports with clients
  • Serve as primary interface with senior client leads
  • Provide support and guidance to agency teams on key cross-functional issues
  • Liaise with the team on key financial processes, resource allocation and performance evaluation
  • Oversee and direct multiple brands, coordinating all disciplines to ensure alignment and continuity of brand and franchise strategies
  • Overall responsibility for hands-on management/supervision of multiple account management teams
  • Overall responsibility for managing relationships among and between agency functional teams (account managements, creative services and support services)
  • Overall responsibility for managing relationships among and between partner companies working on brand and/or franchise assignments
  • Become fully versed in the current and forecasted market conditions for all products and therapeutic categories within the franchise
  • Be or become fully versed in all agency operations
  • Manage non-dedicated personnel (resource sharing) to cover workload and ensure maximum billability
  • Oversee growth and development of account team
  • Develop and maintain productive relationships with creative leads on the business
  • Lead the sales effort to foster organic growth of business
  • Build and maintain excellent client relationships through delivery of superior insights and products
